Jewelry Trends!

Arm Candy: Bracelet stacking 

 

Bracelet stacking is one of the easiest and most misunderstood jewelry trends. I have heard many people say they can't make a pretty stack. The important thing to remember is to keep it balanced. Don't wear all large bangles, but also don't wear too many thin bracelets. You want to have a mix of wide bracelets and skinny bracelets. Mix stones with plain metal bracelets. Mix bangles with stretch bracelets. Mix multiple colors. Don't be afraid to mix metals. A recent trend is mixing gold and silver together!

 

 

 

Statement Necklaces

 

 

My personal favorite trend is statement necklaces! They cover a large area (if your not comfortable showing skin) and comes in an array of fun colors. You can find them in plain metal, with rhinestones, or with fun stones.The make a huge impact, with minimal effort and can instantly make a simple outfit more interesting!

 

 

 

Layering

 

 

Much like bracelet stacking, its also trendy to stack or layer necklaces. One piece is interesting, but two pieces is even more interesting. Pile on as many as you want, but remember, the more details you have and the more you add, the harder they will be to see. You want your best pieces to stand out.

 

 

 

Gold!!

 

 

Silver has been all the rage for a while now, but gold is BACK! Gold is often associated with the 80s, but not anymore! Gold is back in full force! Not only is gold a must have now, rose gold is just as in demand.

 

Chains

 

Another trend back from the 80s is big chains. Keep this look updated by incorporating other aspects like rope or leather. Also keep the look updated by not going to large with the chains. You want to keep it in the middle, not too large, not too small.

 

Crystal Clear

 

Crystals are going to be a major trend in the coming months of 2014. Combine multiple trends by wearing a stack of crystal clear bracelets.
